The professional liability insurance will generally cover any claims worldwide. Not included will be claims from activities
- carried out through law firms or offices established or operated in foreign states,
- carried out in connection with advisory services and analyses of extra-European law,
- of the lawyer before courts outside Europe.
As to liability claims lodged against the policyholder before non-European courts, the insurance cover will be limited to the statutory minimum amount insured.
The relevant regulations of Part 1 A. § 4 No. 1, Part 2 A. No. 2.1, 4.1 AVB-RSW or § 51 para. 3 No. 2 to 4 BRAO, respectively, will be applicable.
